Why wait for your connecting flight?

With our new stopover option, you can now have a break between two consecutive flights. That means you have the opportunity to take a breather, stay over and explore the city of Kuala Lumpur and other exciting Malaysian tourist spots en route to your destination. You even have the choice to opt for a second stopover on your return flight.

How to opt for my stopover?

Just select the stopover option when booking your flight. The option is currently applicable only for the following flights:

Paris (CDG), Frankfurt (FRA), Rome (FCO), Amsterdam (AMS), London - Heathrow (LHR)

Australia and New Zealand

Respective fare rules apply. Stopovers only valid on selected routes and are permitted in Kuala Lumpur in each direction at passenger’s own expense and will incur additional taxes. Taxes may vary according to currency fluctuations. Other terms and conditions apply. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice.
 

How to book?


 Step 1: Enter routes and the "Stopover" checkbox will appear.

 Step 2: Click on the "Stopover" checkbox next to depart field to select outbound stopover.
